The Tiffen 4 x 4" ND 1.2 Filter is a solid neutral density filter that offers a 4-stop exposure reduction. This 1.2 density darkens the entire image, allowing you to photograph at a wider aperture or slower shutter speed than is ordinarily required. You can better control the depth of field and depict movement by increasing your aperture or slowing down your exposure duration. Neutral density filters do not impact the image's colors and are great for combining with other filters.
