It measures 76.6mm in diameter and 88.8mm in length when fully retracted. Weighing only at 880g, it is smaller and lighter compared to the RF24-105mm f/4L IS USM.

Macro Function

RF24-105mm f/4-7.1 IS STM has Center Focus Macro function that allows minimum focusing of approximately 13cm from the sensor which is approximately 2.5cm from the lens, providing a 0.5x magnification at 24mm with manual focus.

When shooting at 105mm, you’re able to achieve a 0.4x magnification in both auto focus and manual focus with a minimum focusing distance of approximately 34cm.

Dual Sensing Imaging Stabilisation

RF24-105mm f/4-7.1 IS STM supports Dual Sensing Image Stabilisation, which utilises information from the gyro sensors within the lens and image data from the CMOS image sensor within the camera body to achieve a stunning image stabilisation of up to 5 shutter speed stop.
