  • Music Videos - Multi-cam HDR/4K from Quad SDI cameras
  • Sports - High frame-rate
  • Broadcast - ISO recordings
  • Cinema - Latest HDR and 4K 60p technologies

Shogun Inferno combines the world's most advanced HDR high bright monitor with high resolution, high frame-rate recording. Connect cinema cameras from Arri, Sony, Canon, Panasonic, Red or JVC over the QuadLink SDI or HDMI 2.0 connections to make mastering a high resolution, high frame-rate, HDR workflow a reality.

Quad SDI - The Quad SDI inputs let you connect from cameras with multiple 1.5/3/6/12G SDI outputs without the need for converters
4K 60p - Record and play out pristine ProRes/DNxHR in 4K resolution and 24/25/30/50/60p frame rates
HD 240p - Apart from 4K recording, high frame-rate HD from 50p to 240p can be recorded from cameras with these outputs
HDR Log/Raw - Capture HDR Log or Raw as ProRes, DNxHR or CDNG. Works with Arri, Canon, Panasonic, Sony (Raw & Log), JVC & Red (Log)
Playlists - Create playlists easily, either entire clips or tagged parts of clips, for playback on the unit or out to a larger screen
Continuous Power System - Atomos' patent-pending Continuous Power System automatically swaps to the second battery when power is low for uninterrupted recording in the field
AtomHDR - Record the high brightness range of your camera's Log profile while monitoring the final, vibrant post-production HDR result (Canon, Sony, Panasonic, Arri, JVC, Red)
AtomHDR 10-Bit - 10-bit monitor processing increases the number of colors from 16.7 million for standard 8-bit panels to 1.07 billion, minimizing color banding on screen
7" High Bright Monitor - The high-resolution 7" calibrated monitor, boasts 1500nit brightness, which makes it perfect for hood-free outdoor monitoring
3D LUT - Apply a custom look to SDR footage by uploading and applying ".cube" 3D LUT's. View in full/half mode on screen, output it to a monitor or record into the footage
ProRes / AVID DNxHR Recording - Record to visually lossless Apple ProRes or AVID DNxHR as an edit-friendly, visually lossless industry bnechmark independent of the camera brand used.
HDR In/Out - Playout HDR as PQ or HLG to larger HDR compatible screens or feed HDR as a PQ or HLG signal in for mobile HDR grading

What is AtomHDR?

Where 4K increases the number of pixels, HDR increases the brightness range - displaying brighter and darker parts in a scene at the same time.

In consumer terms, it means scenes are more vivid and life-like while in filmmaking terms, you no longer clip highlights or sacrifice shadow detail.

With AtomHDR, shoot in Log from your camera and preview post-production HDR on the monitor to judge exposure perfectly for final delivery in either HDR or SDR in post.
