BroadcastAsia 2011: What An Adventure!

BroadcastAsia is one of Asia’s largest and leading professional broadcast event that is open to industry experts and professionals, and features a plethora of latest technology, innovations and gadgets for film, TV and digital signage. Held annually, this year's event took place over a period of four days from 21 - 24 June 2011 at Suntec Convention Centre and we are thrilled to be participate for the first time as an exhibitor under the Singapore Pavilion!

Not knowing what to expect from the event as a first-timer, we put on a display of all the best video products and accessories we have to offer, including:

We had a whale of a time at BroadcastAsia, gaining more exposure for our company and products in this ever-progressing industry, making new friends with broadcast/video professionals from all over the world and meeting up with our principals who have travelled from afar to attend the event, including Mark Blaker, Anthony Wong, Dora Ho and Sophi Chan from Genus. We learnt so much more, too, just by sharing with all of you!

We would like to give a shout of thanks to everyone who have made this possible for us in their own ways, including Sean Seah from Firewerkz Films for taking precious time out to be present at our booth on the first day and for bringing along his own Steadicam Zephyr, which almost always stopped traffic whenever Sean took it out for a demo. Sean also did an amazing video footage for us using most of our equipment that were on display - we'll post the link to this video towards the end of this post, but for now, we'll let the pictures do the rest of the talking:

An ideal solution for the new HD DSLRs with video functions, this head provides maximum freedom in all directions, and allows smooth and controlled movements. The pan bar is also easily reversible for both left and right-handers.

As promised, below is the video shot by Sean Seah on the first day of the event, using everything we had on display - a good showcase of what the products are capable of!

And before we go, we'd like to leave you with a few more photos to give you a better glimpse of what went on during BroadcastAsia:

It was truly a worthwhile experience for us, as it helped us to get to know the broadcast industry even better. For those of you who visited us during the four-day show, thank you for being a part of this experience and we hope to see all of you again soon!
